Have you seen Munnabhai MBBS?

Probably you had seen. It is no doubt one of the best movies by Raj Kumar Hirani. Request you to watch, if you haven’t yet for a dose of laughter. In the movie, I was intrigued with the character of Boman Irani, the Dean. He used to laugh whenever he got angry. Though it was fake.

Why did he fake the laughter?

You already know the power of laughing. In the movie, Boman used the laughter therapy to lower his blood pressure whenever he gets angry. He is simply faked it. In the real world if any of us do such things, people may judge as mad. Let them do the judgment. People are so empty minded that they are going to judge us whether we laugh or not.

“सबसे बड़ा रोग क्या कहेंगे लोग”

In addition to normalizing blood pressure, it also helps us in the production of gamma interferon, T cell and B cells, which are antibodies made to fight disease, including cancer. It rebalances the internal chemistry of anger.

The fake laughter is like real laughter. The body cannot differentiate the both. All the neuron transmits the same signal as if it the real one. Generally, after 2 minutes of fake laughter it turns to real one. It is just laughing. You don’t have to watch Kapil Sharma or any other stand up comedian just for laughing.

Hasyayoga, meaning laughing is also form of a yoga. Laughter burn calories too, you will be losing some as you practice it.

To put in Natsu Dragneel, Fictional character, words, “Don’t give up, the beginning is always the hardest, so let’s keep on going till the very end.”

It will be difficult to start; however, you can involve your parents and kick off your happy day together. It will bring a smile on their face too. 5 minutes per day is doable, if you honestly want to happy and healthy.

Smile, it doesn’t cost you a penny 😜
