I was habituated to publish the articles as soon as I was done with writing. I was in a rush. I rarely reviewed them consistently. Some of my curious readers even suggested reviewing once before publishing. However, I didn’t like reviewing but deep down I knew it needed to be done for improving the magical articles. One of my close friends, Mrinmay, asked me multiple times within the same week to reread at least once before pressing the publish button. This stayed in my memory and triggered me to do something.

The smart device, the brain, came up with an interesting solution. I had a deal with Mrinmay that if I didn’t review my article I will be paying him 20 bucks for that day. This 20 bucks deal changed my entire habit pattern. I consciously started to review the write-ups daily and now it has become just another habit. I could have lied to Mrinmay but it wouldn’t help me to improvise the improvement areas. Additionally, he is my trustworthy friend so how could I lie to him.

How did 20 bucks trigger me?

Probably the determination to save 20 bucks triggered the habit. I was saving 20 bucks every day just by reviewing. Plus it improved my writings. This gave me the idea to introduce 99 bucks for the new cohort. Who does want to lose money, when one can easily save by putting in a few minutes and even you get interest by developing a productive habit.
